Unusual question re: the mouse

by jhertko Fri Nov 15, 2013 10:44 pm

I thought of this the other day and started to panic a bit. Also, I warned you, this is an unusual question. About 15 yrs ago, I lost almost 1/2 of my index finger (meningitis). Ever since then, using typical mice is very difficult for me...my hands are delicate anyway, and the lack of index finger length really makes my hand cramp.

I almost exclusively use trackpads, sometimes Wacom tablets, or in a pinch, a mouse that I've carefully picked out.

Can you describe the mouse?
Is there anything I can do about this?

Maybe I need to start training with a bad mouse.

Thank you!

Hey J,

Sorry to hear about your hand! Here's the thing, you don't use the mouse all that much. Most of the work you're doing is on your notepad, and you only need the mouse when you're clicking to the next question. So I wouldn't worry too much about it!
