Hey Komati,

Unsure if you want an explanation, or if you're just trying to open up a conversation, but I'll assume the former. : )

On this type of vocab question, we start by filling in our own word. We know the two halves of the sentence agree (because of the semicolon), so we want a word that means "going" (As in "we are going to do this thing").

A. Reluctant -- This is the opposite of what we want
B. Illuminate -- This makes no sense
C. Apt -- Yep. Apt means "having a tendency to do something"
D. Prone -- Yep. Prone means "likely to do something"
E. Intimidated -- This makes no sense
F. Comprehensive -- This makes no sense
