For question 6, I chose A and B because in regards to choice C, the fact that is said "progressed as quickly" deterred me from choosing it. I understand that the last sentence of the first paragraph suggests that if it weren't for the implications of Michelson and Morley's experiment, Einstein's theory of relativity may not have been postulated. However, I don't see how we can imply how quickly 20th century physics could have progressed. I feel like 20th century physics could have progressed sooner or later with or without the experiment cited because some other experiment may have been carried out, Einstein may have discovered his theory on his own, etc.
