Scared! Need help on inferring results of Practice test.

by Ankit.agrwl91 Sun Aug 18, 2013 12:03 pm

I just finished with my second practice test got a score of Q-160 V-158 which is a slight improvement on the first one, in which i scored Q159 and V-155.

Now my point here is regarding the scoring, is not supposed to be simply on the number rights or wrong out of the whole?

More worried about how relate this with the ETS, as in terms of difficulty. Also how much gap one should ideally keep between these practice tests?

Just very worried.

Hey Ankit,

I'm not sure I understand your question. Our tests are built just like the real one. Your score is a function of the difficulty of questions (including whether you get placed in the hard, medium, or easy second section for verbal and/or quant) and the number you get right. So it's complicated. But what exactly is your question?
