I'm sorry to be like this, but you need to stop posting questions from disreputable sources. I realize you just want an explanation, but it means I have to explain to everyone who views the post that what they are looking at is NOT relevant to studying for the GRE (which this question isn't). The probability tested on the GRE is very straightforward, not trickery like this (as far as I've seen). Please, in the future, only post real GRE questions, and try to post them with some question from your end (i.e. "I tried to solve this way, but it didn't work. Why not?). Also, please post the answer choices. You keep saying questions are numeric entry, but those questions are quite rare on the test.
Anyway, the answer to the question is 3/4. They already told you that he always tells the truth 3 out of 4 times. It doesn't matter what the roll is.
