I have a doubt in one of the "practice test 4" questions.
It is question #12 in math #1. The question name is "Equilateral ratio".
Here, it is given that angle ABD is equal to 60 degrees and the question is to compare the area of triangle ABD with the area of triangle ADC.
My doubt is- since AD is a perpendicular line, it must divide the line segment BC into 2 equal halves such that BD=BC. As such, the areas of the two triangles should be equal (they have the same base and height) and the answer must be C. But the given answer is D (cannot be determined from the information given). I do not know what exactly I am missing. Kindly, help me in this regard.
