Hello,
In the explanation of how to solve question #5, for Quantity B, they split the numerator when there is more than one term in the denominator.
Is this an error? Why were they able to split the numerator with 2 terms in the denominator?

Could you please type up the question? The forum is for everyone, so if people can't see the question, it can get confusing. (Also, there are various versions of the books, so I always want to make sure I'm answering the right question/version anyway.)
