OG pg. 219, 220, 260 and 262

by Rabia M Mon Mar 21, 2016 11:15 pm

1) OG, pg. 219 Q5b. The answer makes sense but how can I be sure those are the only prime divisors, I mean in a question how does one ensure that I'm not missing anything?
2) OG, pg. 219, q7. Can't figure out how to solve it.
3) OG pg. 220, q15. Can't figure out how to solve it.
4) OG pg. 260, q9: I'm confused why it is 42*9 rather than 42*3.
5) OG pg. 262, q.14b. Can't figure out how to solve it.

Thanks.

Hey Rabia,

Please ask each individual question in a separate thread with the title of the question. Also, post the question itself, so the forum will be useful to all the people who use it. Thanks!
