Strategy Book 4: Number Properties, Page 179, Question#9
If (X^2)/4 is an integer greater than 50, then what is the smallest possible vale for X^2?
The answer is given as 256.
But I did like this:
let X^2/4 = 51
>> X^2 = 204.
>> X = sqrt(204). In the question, it is not mentioned that X is an integer.
Please let me know if I am missing any point here?
