Manhattan Prep Geo Guide - #9 p. 91

by Alexander Thu Jan 15, 2015 7:28 pm

Hi -

I wanted to point out wording in this questions.

A rectangular solid has a square base with each side of the base measuring 4 meters. If the volume of the solid is 112 cubic meters, what is the surface area?"

- I got stuck because of the highlighted wording. It's subtle but clever, by saying it's a square the W and H are the same, which is possible and therefore each 4.
