Length of essays

Hi,
How many words and paragraphs should issue and argument essays contain to score well? I am being able to write about 4-5 small paragraphs of around 300 words. Is that enough?

I'm afraid you're looking for more. 500 words is a good target. It's not impossible to get a good score with 300, but it's difficult. That would mean your paragraphs are only about 60 words, which is unlikely to be long enough to make much of a point. (This paragraph, for example, is already 60 words, and is quite short.)
