How much time is needed?

by mslizlee Mon Mar 31, 2014 10:25 pm

Hi!

I purchased the self-study package and am both excited and overwhelmed at all the information.

I looked over the course syllabus and it is by sessions, which I am assuming corresponds to weeks in the course.

How much more time should I give myself to study after the 9 weeks of studying following the syllabus?

Thank you!

Hey Liz,

We generally recommend 2-3 weeks, and also be open to the idea of taking the test twice (which would imply another month of work, as you can't take it again right away). Of course, the need for extra time would be entirely dependent on how much time you have to devote to this every week. If you can go like crazy for 9 weeks, you could very well be ready RIGHT away after. You could even go faster (that would also start to be dependent on your starting place, as well).

Good luck!
