how long to take prac exam

Hi, I can't see the answer to this, and before I get started on the practice test, I want to be sure of the answer:

do I need to allow 4 hours for the practice exam, just like the actual GRE? Or are they in sections that I can do and come back if I don't have a 4-hour block of time today?

Hey Jan,

The online test allows you to pause whenever you'd like; certainly you can pause between sections. Just be aware that your score at the end won't be reliable if you've taken breaks. One of the hardest things about the GRE is staying focused/engaged for the length of an entire test, so we recommend students try to take their practice tests in real time, and simply do other practice questions (from other books) if you have less time.
