Sorry, but if it's on the ETS side of things, who knows! They don't tell us what they're up to. Also, ETS and GMAC are totally different companies, and they're in competition with each other, so I wouldn't trust much that ETS says about the GMAT, if they're in charge of the conversion.
Instead of worrying about score converting, just use your percentiles to give a rough estimate. That's always been the easiest/safest way! (Either way, don't trust a score converter from ETS -- there's no direct conversion from one to the other, every school would see it differently).
