GRE Test Registration Deadline

Is there a registration deadline for the GRE?
In other words, if I wanted to take the test in November, what is the latest date at which I can still register for it? What is the recommended date?

In my experience, there is no hard deadline, but certain centers and spots fill up. In other words, if you lived in a smaller town with a testing center that was always empty, you could conceivably sign up a day or two in advance. In NYC, it's very different, and depends on the season and other factors. The best thing to do is go to the website and start looking at when the centers in your area have openings. Good luck!
