GRE Practice Test Graphics Display

I recently took a practice test and the graphics or images would not display for any of the data analysis questions. I was running a mac with chrome. I haven't really had this problem on any other website, so I think the computer is up to date. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks very much.

Hey James,

So sorry to hear you had trouble! I'm sorry to say I haven't heard anyone else having that problem. In the future, maybe pause your test and try another browser (Firefox or Safari), or else try clearing the cache, which works a surprising amount of the time.

Also, feel free to call student services whenever this happens. As you can see, the GRE forum isn't updated every day, so if you have any kind of urgent problem, it's best to call the office.

Hello

I took the first practice test in which i encountered a lot of problems during the process. Firstly, there was no graphic display and secondly the internet was getting disconnected every now and then. My final results were quite depressing though i increased my score to 70% in quants(QC not included) compared to the previous test in which i had scored 42%. My final total was 300 in this test and in previous test 298. Inspite of increase in percentage of quants in this test, my score increased by only 2 points??
How valid is the points when i have encountered such problems??

Hey Poorna,

It's a little hard to say, because it depends on how bad things were. Try to take the test somewhere with solid internet next time, so there are no delays. Your score will likely be better, but it's impossible to say by how much.

hello,
I'm having the same problem with the graphics display. Its not loading a lot of the images and I'm using firefox although I've tried all the other major browsers and its still not working. What can i do?

Did you do the things I said? (Clearing the cache?). Also, make sure you try Chrome and Safari/Internet Explorer. If it's not working on any of them, you'll have to call our office and get someone from tech to try and talk you through the issue. We aren't having other complaints, so something is definitely going on with your setup. We'll get to the bottom of it, though!

I'm also having this trouble. Already completed many sections so a pity not to get accurate scoring due to unanswered questions.
