I just finished taking the free GRE practice exam offered here on this website, and I was a bit confused about my score results. I got a 166 V / 166 Q, with 4 missed questions on the verbal and 2 missed questions on the quant section.
The verbal score makes sense, however the quant score doesn't to me. I checked the score report and saw that the two quant questions I missed were both marked "devilish" in difficulty, so it's not like I missed easier questions. From what I understand, a (very) rough guide to scoring is 1 question missed is about one point less off the total score.
I did exhaust all the time for every quant section, and I remember reading somewhere that the speed in which you finish the quant sections also effects your score. I find that hard to believe however, is that really the case? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
