Ets GRE practice question books for verbal and quant.

Hello admin,

l will be taking the test this month, and I have made use of Manhattan materials, the ets guide and power prep soft ware. I feel they have been helpfull, since I now understand the concepts tested on the GRE.


But I recently got hold of recently published ets question material: practice questions. The quantitative questions in the mixed practice sections of the quant book are more exacting in comparison to what I have seen on the powerprep.

My question: is the quant becoming more difficult or I don't have to worry about this?

Hey Dicapino,

It's not becoming more difficult anytime quickly. It got much harder when they updated it, but our materials reflect that. I think our tests are legitimate. Our books aren't always built to simulate the test itself, but to build up the skills necessary to do well on the test. For actual test level material, I recommend our practice tests at the 5lb. book. The other books have a different focus, if that makes sense.
