Edition

Hey i have the 2nd edition of the manhatten books..I am giving GRE in oct 2014..Can anyone tell me is there a big difference in 2nd edition and the current 4th edition of books...if there is difference what is it??

Hey Prma,

If I'm not mistaken, the second editions of our books line up with the old GRE, not the new one, so there are a fair number of differences across the board (do some research into the difference between the old and new GRE for a sense of them). That being said, the concepts tested in math are effectively the same, and most of verbal is similar (new vocabulary based types, a TOTALLY new type of Reading Comprehension modeled on Critical Reasoning/Logical Reasoning on the GMAT/LSAT). So it's up to you. You can learn most of what you need to know from those books, but there are some major differences in terms of the test.
