Correct the sentence

by isamaiprahim Wed Sep 17, 2014 10:42 am

Hi everybody,
I have a sentence that I don't know whether it is correct. The sentence as following:
The reading passage suggests that e-voting allows faster counting of votes because of the quick feedback versus the unreliable post.
according to the grammar of present subjunctive, the sentence has a mistake grammatically, yet some sources, include Manhattan for RCs, the verb after "that" is divided normally. So, I feel confuse about this when practicing the writing section.

Hey Isami,

This is a different definition of the word "suggest."

This one sets up the subjunctive: put forward for consideration: [ with clause ]

This one does not: cause one to think that (something) exists or is the case:

I suggest that she buy dinner.

The study suggests that the she buys dinner twice a week.
