Conversion table from number of right questions to 130-170

by fabrizio Wed Oct 22, 2014 2:45 pm

Fellows, I just do not believe how painful it is to find a score conversion table that converts number of right questions to the final scores in the new 40-verbal and 40-math questions format.

It is possible to find ETS official online tables that convert number of right questions to old 800 system and even to the new 170 system (see the official guide 2n edition or http://www.ets.org/s/gre/accessible/gre ... _point.pdf), but when it still had 50 overall questions for verbal and quant. Is seems impossible to find a table that does the same now that we only have 40 questions verbal and 40 quant.

Can anyone help me on that?

Hey Fabrizio,

I'm confused with what you want. What do you want? You can't simply find your score based on right or wrong, because it's partially dependent on what section you end up in...so I wouldn't think of it that way.

I think this is what you're looking for!

No, he wanted a chart that connected number of right answers to score, not a translation guide. But I don't think such a thing exists!
