8-Book GRE Program 3 Month Study Plan

by athenalux Mon Aug 03, 2015 1:39 pm

Can anyone recommend a good 2-3 month study plan using the 8-book GRE study guide set? I've just started using the books to review and I'm unsure whether I should work through them systematically one at a time, or if it would be better to switch back and forth between books.

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hey Athena,

We offer self-study plans that tell you how best to spend your time. You could consider that. Otherwise, I would recommend a combination of any given book subject with practice questions on that subject from other books. Good luck!

I'm looking for the same answer. I've received my copies from B&N and do not know how to go about finishing them all. One by one, or...? :|

Hey Asim,

As I said, we offer self-study programs if you really want a day by day, week by week sort of approach. That said, just doing the books will always work. Alternate between doing the book on a subject, then doing a bunch of practice questions on the same subject in the official guide or the 5lb. book. Take tests, but not too often. Tests are good for gauging your progress and practicing stamina/technique, but they aren't useful for LEARNING.

Good luck!

Hi t,

How would I go about acquiring one of these self-study programs?

If you call the office, they can talk you through the options. I believe it's up on the website as well...
