/-7/ = -n

by hasibul.alam Fri Jan 29, 2016 7:39 am

/-7/ = -n
Q.A : n
Q. b : 7

OA is b

but what if i do like this
let -7= x
so, /x/ = -n
then, -n= x, n=-x=-(-7)=7
and -n= -x
n=x= -7

so, ans should be D. Please correct me if i am wrong

Apologies, but your example is irrelevant. There is no x here. This is a soluble equation. We can solve for n. So presenting an algebraic example with another variable has no relation to this problem.

/-7/ = -n
Q.A : n
Q. b : 7

The question says /-7/ = -n

Well, the left side solves immediately /-7/ = 7

So 7 = -n

So n = -7

That is the whole question.
