1. Scoring Index of Manhattan practice tests for GRE

by avanti.gupta95 Fri Sep 09, 2016 4:03 am

Hello Sir,

There are two questions from my side.

1. Will the score we get in Manhattan practice tests be similar to the one we get in actual GRE exam ?

2. What is the scoring process of Manhattan practice tests? If I do 2 questions wrong in Quant, I get 166. Why is it so ? Should not I be getting 168 ?

1. Yes.

2. That isn't how the GRE is scored. You can read their official website here: https://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/scores/how/. The basic upshot is that the score needs to take into account the difficulty shifts in the adaptivity, so there is no ONE question to ONE point equivalency.
