A construction company was paid a total of $500,000 for a construction project. The company's only cost for the project were for labor and materials. Was the company's profit for the project more than $150,000?

1) The company's total cost was three times its cost for materials

2.) The company's profit was greater than its cost for labor.

THE OA is C. Can someone help me with this?

1.) P = R - E

P= 500,000 - E , while E= 3M, so L= 2M

hence, P= 500,000 - (3M)

Insufficient

2.) P > L, so M could be very large, and L could be small and vice versa, so we don't know what either L or P is.

Insufficient

1.) and 2.) So we know that P> 2M
P= 500 - (2M + M), since it must be true that 3M < 350,000, M < ~116,000, so right here, I am kind of stuck.
