Where to Start?

by danarya Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:25 pm

I am just starting to study for the gmat and I am overwhelmed at how many resources I get with the mgmat program. I am feeling a little overwhelmed at all the different resources that I have and I would like to schedule a time to meet with an instructor about this as opposed to particular questions. Does anybody know if the instructors will go over the materials with me as opposed to having particular questions to ask?

I am not 100% certain, but the instructors at Manhattan GMAT were awesome and I am sure they would be happy to answer all of your questions, regardless of if they are not specific.

Are you talking about during the office hours? Yes, you can discuss resources and how best to study, prioritize your time, etc, during office hours. (If you aren't sure what these are, you can look them up in your Welcome Guide or you can ask your instructor.)

Have you actually started the course yet? During the first class, we also talk through the major resources and how to use them. And you can, of course, ask your instructor at any point. Tip: the instructors typically arrive early and then we just sit around and wait for class to start, so try to arrive early yourself and you can pick your instructor's brain about how best to use everything that you've got!
