What Combination of scores will get me a 700?

by wgrau2 Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:14 am

I recently scored a 680 - 39Q, 44V. The Quant was lower this time than in my previous practice tests. I had been scoring between 41 and 44 in quant on the practice tests. Any ideas as to what quant score I would need to reach a 700 if my Verbal holds steady? How about if my Verbal drops by 2 points? In practice tests, I had been scoring 39-42 in Verbal.

Thanks!

Just google it - There are hundreds of combos posted. I think if you held steady with your verbal, you may be able to pull a 700 off with a Q42 or 43

You can go to this link. Put in your verbal and math raw score, click calculate and the total score will be calculated for you.

Great suggestions, guys, thanks. Do know that the specific combos change a little bit over time, so if you seem someone posting a combo from a year or more ago, then it may not be the same today.

I don't know the exact number you'd need, wgrau2, but you're very close. You've almost maxed out your verbal score; if you can maintain that, you probably need somewhere between 41 and 44 on quant.
