Is x - y > y - x?

1) x + 1 = y

2) x and y are both greater than 0

The question came with an answer key saying the correct answer is A. I disagree and would suggest a C answer here. What am I missing?

It's hard for me to see what you're missing unless I can hear more about your logic and your method of solving this problem. Please tell me what you did!
