I found this on one of the prep books (I believe the OG), my question is about the usage of as and like
The paintings of Picaso reflect an almost sensuous fascination with the properties of light, much like van gogh's
1) much like van gogh's
2)much as van gogh
3)much as van gogh did
4)much like Van Gogh's do
5)much as Van Gogh's do
Does the fact that Van gogh is used as an example preclude the use of 'like' in favor of 'As'?
