verbal in actual gmat

by rahul9395 Fri Jun 04, 2010 7:53 am

Hi Stacey,

I gave my gmat in december and scored a pathetic 600
where as in MGMAT tests i was scoring between 660 and 700

The major reason for low score I think is the verbal question lately have become very difficult. Particularly the language used in RC and CR has changed very dramatically.

I want to know whether have you heard such problems from other students ? If yes What additional practise I should do ?

Not at all. You haven't given much to go on here. If you were a student in our classes, i would recommend contacting MGMAT for a Post-Exam Assessment. This will give you an opportunity to talk to one of our instructors who can help you identify what was different between your practice tests and the real GMAT. The instructor will be able to get a good feel for your particular situation and recommend some steps moving forward that will help far more than we can help here on the forums..
