by kamatarchu Sun Sep 20, 2009 7:08 am

Hi All,
I recently appeared for Gmat and got 500 only.
i got very less in Verbal.

i studied from Official Guide 12 edition.
Can anyone just guide me with any such study material which would help me improve my scores.. I am planning to take re-test.

Regards,

Please read (and follow!) the forum guidelines before posting. This question belongs in our General Verbal folder, so I'm moving it there.

For Verbal content review and practice, we recommend our Strategy Guides (one each on Reading Comp, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction). These have the advantage of addressing only verbal concepts tested on the GMAT. If you study more general books on grammar, for example, you could waste time studying valid concepts that the GMAT just doesn't test.

The OG 12th edition and Verbal Review, as well as the GMAT Prep tests, are great primary sources of questions.
