Expert please help


While asset prices soar and the cost of basic commodities like oil and iron ore remain high by historic standards, retail prices are barely increasing.

a. same
b. remains high by historic standards, retail prices are barely increasing.
c. remained high by historic standards, retail prices are barely increasing.
d. have remained high by historic standards, retail prices are barely increasing.
e. that remains high by historic standards, retail prices are barely increasing.

So tI was trying to clear the concept behind it
