Use of "There"

by abhishek.gupta Thu Mar 07, 2013 10:49 am

"There" is generally used to refer place.

Can "there" be used to refer "Not actual places". Let me explain with an example.

"This is a diffcult and unusual situation but I have been there before."

"there" refers to "difficul and unusual situation".
Is this acceptable in GMAT?
In genearl, please highlight any noteworthy point related to the usage of "there".
