Timing index

by aidasani Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:28 pm

Hi all,

I attended Ron's class a while back and I recall we discussing the timing strategy on GMAT. He had a great idea of drawing a timing index (questions done/time remaining) so that one can be aware of their timing strategy.

I was wondering if we are allowed to create the timing index before our verbal or quant sections start. Because that would save about 30-40 crucial seconds!

Technically, you are only allowed to write on your scrap paper while the test is running. You can try writing this down during the essay section, though be aware that sometimes the proctors will take your scrap booklet between the two sections (and give you a blank one).
