The Reason Being

by AmmuS624 Thu Sep 25, 2014 12:10 am

Hi,

How to use "the reason being" in sentence. I have observed option that contains "the reason being" is always wrong in SC.

Regards,

Take a look at your post. You just effectively asked us "how do I correctly use something that is always wrong?" :)

I've encountered the same thing you have - I have never seen it used correctly on the GMAT, and just like you I believe it will always be wrong.

If you have actually seen this construction as a decisive issue in a GMAT problem, please post that problem, along with your question(s) about it, in another thread. Thanks.

You won't see this kind of thing in formal written language.
