I'm sorry that you're struggling with this test; you're not alone. On the tutoring front, I try not to make recommendations much because I have an obvious conflict of interest. I do definitely encourage you to think about why you want an MBA and what programs best match your needs. Everyone thinks they have to go to a top-rated school, but that's not necessary for most people. The ratings themselves reflect a very particular world-view, but if you aren't planning to work in certain fields or for certain types of companies, then the ratings shouldn't have a lot of bearing on your decision.

What do you hope to do after the MBA? Where do you hope to do it? Geography is a huge consideration - one of the big benefits of an MBA is the network you develop, so ideally, you want to go to school in the general geographical location where you'd like to work for at least several years after the program ends. Many people stay within that region for at least a few years after and, if you stay in that area too, that gives you the most opportunities to leverage your new network.

Also, do a cost-benefit analysis. Private programs can be hugely expensive, and you're also losing two years of earnings, so your expected outcome after the program has to be substantial to justify that opportunity cost.

there's a lot that i have to think about as far as MBA programs, but i know that i can't let this dopey exam get the better of me. even if i only use it as a bragging point, there's no reason that i can't do better on this exam. so the journey will continue....

Oh, the bragging rights are definitely a key motivator. Of course, you also run the risk of really annoying your friends... ;)
