Surface of Earth - Sentence Correction

by sri_wcupa Sat Feb 01, 2014 2:54 am

Hello,

I was not sure how to decide between C and E here:

Unlike Mars, the surface of Earth is primarily water, with landmass making up less than half of the total area.

A) Mars, the surface of Earth is primarily water

B) Mars, Earth's surface is primarily water

C) the surface of Mars, that of Earth is primarily water

D) Mars, water is primarily Earth's surface

E) that of Mars, Earth has a surface that is primarily water

Between C and E, is C correct because the comparison is clearer? Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,
Sri
