Suggestion needed

by san7eep_sandy Wed Dec 14, 2011 2:34 pm

Hi Stancy,

My Gmat exam is scheduled on 19th dec 2011. I have registered my name during registration as
First name- SANDEEP
MIDDLE NAME- KUMAR REDDY
LAST NAME- S

Whereas Name mentioned in the pass port was as mentioned below

SUR NAME- SAMANTHULA
GIVEN NAME- SANDEEP KUMAR REDDY

During registration I have mistakenly registered my last name as S(Shortened) as mentioned in my driving license instead of SAMANTHULA, mentioned in passport.Date of birth remains same. Whether I will be allowed to write the exam. Please suggest me how to proceed.

Regards,
Sandeep

Call them immediately and tell them. Ask them whether you should follow what your driver's license or your passport. If you're taking the test in a country where you are not a citizen, you usually have to show your passport.

They will tell you what you need for proof of ID, and then you can ask them to change the registration if needed - but do this BEFORE test day. Good luck!
