Subjunctive mood

by xyin Thu Apr 28, 2011 11:44 am

Several financial officers of the company spoke on condition that they not be named in the press reports. (GMAT Prep verbal folder)
A. that they not be named
B. that their names will not be used
C. that their names are not used
D. of not having their names
E. of not naming them

I chose C, but the key is A.
Can Stacy or Ron or any other professor help me resolve this problem? How can we use condition as the subjunctive mood?
Thanks in advance!
