Hi Stacey/Moderators/Aspirants,
I have following questions regarding Verbal Section:
1) My scores are varying anywhere from 32 to 37 in verbal,I have been trying hard to push it above 42.But have been unable to do so.On doing analysis I figured out that I am not having enough confidence for Sentence Correction. This in turn leads me to spend more time on it.Around 2-3 min for all SC questions-and than too Iget it wrong.Even if I get it correct it squeezes time for other type of questions.
One of the reason that I do not have sufficient confidence is that I think no matter how many Idioms I learn,I will still not be able to figure out the correct Idiom.
My question is when you suggest that we should skip difficult questions-how do we realize this approach in Verbal.
For quant the process is clear,I quickly read a question I am able to instantly reconize how much time does this question require whether I will be able to do it or not.
But for verbal I go through each and every question-any of 730+ rankers do they ever skip a question in Verbal ?
RC -It's an absolute necessity,we have to go through each and every question.
CR -Except Bold Face questions,we need to go through every question.
SC -I am thinking that I will read the question stem once,If I am able to find out the error in the first go in the question itself,I will go through the choices.
Or I will select "A" and move on.
Please advice --I am presently scoring in between 670-690 in exam comditions. My Exam date is in 20 days,I definetly need to Push the verbal score from 35-37 to 42-44.Can you also let me know what Percentile is equivalent to this score.
What will help?
TIA guys...appreciate your patience in answering to all our querries.
