If you want to buy a set of books and share them, you can do that. If you are talking about the programs that include online materials, however, you'll only get one access with one purchase, so one of you wouldn't have online access. A bunch of the materials (including the practice tests!) are online. All online-access products and packages are for one person only.
The IT department does keep track of where people access accounts from. We have had people who have bought one account and then let others use it (we think they were selling access, actually), and the IT department cancelled the account because they could see from the usage and access data that multiple people were using the account.
You may be able to save costs by getting just one set of books and sharing those, though!
