Shall i postpone my GMAT Date. Suggest!

by KK Wed Jul 09, 2008 12:28 am

I am the student of virtual class of Manhattan GMAT. I took the mock before starting the class and scored 540. Half way in the preparation, i attempted another CAT and got 520. Was highly disappointed by myself.

I have taken Sept 2,08 as the GMAT Date. Do you think its too early. Shall i postpone it.

Please suggest!

At this point, it's too early to decide! Many students don't improve or go down on the 2nd test (halfway through the class), so don't worry at all about that. When does the class end? I wouldn't decide until you are at the end of the class, and I'd ask your teacher first! Make sure you follow the requirements to get the end-of-course test review (1st test by class 2, 2nd test halfway, 3rd test by class 9) and explain when you request the review that your test date is flexible and you will postpone it if your teacher thinks you should.

regarding the suggested CAT

by KK Thu Jul 10, 2008 2:58 pm

Thanks Stacey

My Virtual Classes are finishing end of july. And i have registered for Sept 2. Secondly, if the half way CAT has got me such bad score, i think it would be same till i start revisiting all the syllabus...which will happen near the end of the class or post that. Please suggest.

Make sure you fulfill the requirements to get a test review from your teacher at the end of the class. Then, when you email your teacher to request that review, make sure you let him/her know that one of your questions is when you should take the test. Tell him/her that it's already scheduled for 2 Sep, but that you're willing to change it if the teacher thinks you should.
