Your company can either be a partnership as "Swapana & GMAT Co." .. or a proprietorship Swapana Inc. , but not both at the same time

Answer (E) implies illogical scenario wherein a company's entity is both partnership and proprietorship.

additional consideration
what i am not sure about is this -

if there was an answer choice "than establishing proprietorships OR partnerships"
would that be a correct answer choice - or would it break the parallel structure.
In the main clause, there is setting up of a company (singlular), while this answer choice talks about proprietorships (plural)

any suggestions ?

i ask so i can answer / i answer so i can learn
