Sentance Correction Skills

by mobenny Mon May 18, 2009 9:17 am

Hi,

I am wondering about a good way to improve my sentance correction skill level. For example, I know that for reading comp and critical reasoning a good approach is simply to practice problems. Is the same approach valid for sentance correction?

Thanks,

Moses

SC is a little different because there are a bunch of rules - actual facts - that you need to know in order to answer the questions correctly. CR and RC don't require you to memorize a bunch of facts ahead of time.

So you will need lots of practice, yes, but you will also need something that teaches you all of the rules you need to know for the GMAT, as well as how the rules are likely to be tested on GMAT questions. You can get these things through a combo of our Sentence Correction Strategy Guide (or another company's SC book) and the Official Guide books.
