Hi Ron,

I am slightly confused on this one as well. Please help which one should be correct

A) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message to her boss.
B) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in on the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message for her boss.
c) The secretary burst in the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message for her boss, even before the meeting was over.
d)Even before the meeting was over, the secretary burst in on the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message to her boss.
e) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in the Private meeting,so that she can deliver urgent message to her boss.

Thanks,
Apoorv

A) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message to her boss. (no word like bursted)
B) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in on the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message for her boss. (no word like bursted)
c) The secretary burst in the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message for her boss, even before the meeting was over.
d)Even before the meeting was over, the secretary burst in on the Private meeting,to deliver urgent message to her boss.
e) Even before the meeting was over, the secretary bursted in the Private meeting,so that she can deliver urgent message to her boss. (no word like bursted)

So between C and D
burst in (to some place) - Ted burst into the room
Hence c ruled out
burst in (on somebody/something) -
So, here "burst in on the private meeting" sounds right
Hence D

Hmm..I think you are right,I was under the impression Bursted is the right verb form--and was looking in wrong direction :-(

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/burst

Closer analysis reveals Bursted is no word..

Thx.
