Re: A certain one-day seminar consisted of a morning session

Can somebody draw the double set matrix for this, we have been told to stick to Venn diagrams for 3 sets but this is 2 parameters and I'm finding it difficult creating a matrix to solve this question.

Re: A certain one-day seminar consisted of a morning session

It seems it will be much easier to solve this using a Venn diagram, i set up the double set matrix and was confused. morning session not morning session Total afternoon session Stat A- 3/4*128 stat B - 7/8*128 not afternoon session ? 0 (given) total 128(given)

Re: If ab does not = 0 and points (-a, b) and (-b, a)

Similarly if a = -2, b =-3 then points will be (2,-3) and (3,-2) - both lie in II quadrant "

I think you meant to say Quadrant IV...good explanation anyway.

thanks

Re: on jane's credit card account...

We are taught that Statement 1 and 2 are always true..In this case there seems to be a discrepancy..St 1 says the entire payment ($300) was paid on the 21st, while statement 2 says $150 paid by the 25th day and we still have a 150 to go..how is this possible? What am I interpreting wrong here? thank...

Re: CR - The anticipated retirement of tens of thousands...

Hello all, I am late to this discussion. My question pertains to Strengthen/Weaken questions in general, this question here is a good example to address the doubt I have. For weaken/Strengthen type questions, do you always work on weakening/strengthening the conclusion. Are we supposed to look for a...

Re: manhattan test questtion

In terms of using a comma, why do we need it to separate the 2 clauses as indicated in the correct answer choice D with a comma. What is the rule of using a comma? Could we have had this answer choice to be correct without a comma, Can someone help me understand?
thanks

Re: x, y, and z are non zero-DS

I went with the direction given in class which was to always simplyfy the equation So i got xy +xz >0 xy>-xz y>-z or y<z? So I felt that neither A or B helped answer this and hence chose E What am I doing wrong here? Please direct me. I do know the solution provided above is simple but I...

Re: Heavy commitment by an executive

I am going to resurrect this thread here, please let me know if you guys agree to my line of reasoning, I cant seem to understand why A is wrong. Please provide guidance.
