I chose C between C and D.

Stem is about people who already cast vote, whereas D is about people who intend to vote and therefore is outside the scope.

I agree with OE that "cost" is outside scope; 10% revenue increase is a function of only sales price and volume.
So, I chose A on this.

Congratulations David on great achievement!
If you are unemployed, between now and b-school try to do some useful stuff (e.g. startup, foundations, etc). Adcoms might not like if you are out of work for too long.

the persuasion of people to eat what had previously been horse feed restored market equilibrium was restored.

I'd appreciate some explanation on the usage of gerund.

What do you think about comma before "but"? I hear that in such case, it is better to have a separate subject in the "but" clause, as is the case in C.
