help

Whether can I take an integer as a terminable decimal?
'coz I met a question asking: is r/s is a terminable decimal? r and s are integers. In this case, when r is a multiple of s, the result of the formula is an integer
thx for any explanation you can give

Re: GMAT Breaks and Timing for Reading Directions

there are only two intervals during the GMAT test, one after you finish the AWA section, the other after you finish the math section,
one interval is 8 min, and not count in the test time

Re: luminosity

The time it takes for a star to change its brightness is directly related to the luminosity of it.

I go with E.
I think the it in the sentence will first refer to brightness, and then it also can refer to a star, so it seems ambiguity.

Re: Northern Air has dozens of flights

I think E is correct

A partly supports this argument, since the currently needed stops
are eliminated, this in turn saves the time of the flight;
B is unrelated, so too are C and D

Re: Following several years of declining advertsisng sales

why is B) wrong? Are we saying that the increased circulation caused the increased advertising sales, not the reorg? If the Greenville Times has a small circulation, few businesses are willing to set advertisings on it, by contrary, if its circulation increased, it will atract businesses to buy its...

Re: Shopping behavior @ Jerrod’s department store

From the statement, we can know that the author predicts the profits of the department store will probably increase, while he or she aslo said in the statement that the profits gained from the additional customers can only offset the cost of providing carts, thus the increased profits must come from...

Re: CR Question - Conclusion.

from the passage, we can know that the speed limits has partly contributed to the decline, and other reasons must have facilitated the decline

but here, these other reasons can be what mentioned in option B, or something others whick can not be sure simply from the passage

Re: GMAT Prep: she was less successful after

I go with C, it is better than E, since the use of " she had" in option is groundless, and also the option E an integral clause, while the comma can not connect two integral clause

Re: SC: Online Question Bank - Nightshades

I go with D, what is the OA?

in E, the error is the including can not only mordify the noun "toxic nightshade family", but also can go afterward to modify the tomato, so there is logical problems

Re: GMAT Prep: she was less successful after

I will choose E because 'less' must be followed by 'than' and E only suffies the case.

Moreover there is no point to think that she is still in Newyork so the use of 'had been' is not totally wrong.

Am I Right?

there is "than" in option C, it has beed typed connect to York
