Re: The organic food industry

Hi Ron.. I have a query.. We have generally seen "and also" is wrong in most questions as it is redundant. I have only seen it in the right answer choice of one question. In that question you have explained that "and also" is used whenever we want to point to one person or option...

Re: A box contains 100 balls, numbered from 1 to 100...

Yes we can do this by arrangement. We have three places __ __ __ and we can use odd number(O) or even(E). So we have total 2*2*2 = 8 ways. For getting odd number we need either O,O,O and can arrange in 3!/3! = 1 way or other possible combination for getting sum odd is E,E,O = 3!/2!= 3 ways. Therefor...

Re: SC- Sc:Take the GMAT-Forum

I will give it a try:

As whigs is plural, so we need plural verb. Kick out b,c,d.
Left between A and E.
A is not parallel as we need verb, hence E is better

what is OA? is it E

Re: Study of ancient clay deposits

Hi.. I will give it a try A. A seems to indicate that theory contributed to the extinction and not fire .. clay deposits has provided new evidence supporting the theory ....that contributed to the extinction B. This seems to be the right option C. Unnecessary usage of that.. Also first that does not...

Re: Doctors had Elected Early Retirement

Not so sure..
But E seems to be better due to usage of infinitive..
In C..
instead of facing -- doesn't seem right as we do not use instead of Verb+ing

Ron please comment

Re: Prospecting for gold during the California gold rush was a r

D has actual few problems (i)it changes meaning meaning of the sentence should be since(because) X, Y and Z put gold... X - erosion, Y - prehistoric glacier movement, Z - gold-bearing riverbeds thrust to the surface by volcanic activity However d says..volcanic activity that thrust ancient, gold-bea...

Re: Scientists have recently discovered that

I don't think we can rule option c out on the basis of "same as the one" is wordy. However... second error you specified seems correct as , enabling is modifying the entire clause and is not conveying the right meaning D seems to be the right option as it conveys the right meaning what is ...

Re: SC:In 1945, after a career as First Lady in which she shatte

First of all after a career as First Lady in which she shattered expectations....is a noun modifier and must be followed by Eleanor Roosevelt.. Therefore we can remove B,C and are left with A,D and E A is not parallel in comparison since "in which she shattered expectations " is not parall...
