Answer should be D > if u negate D i.e. if the motivation is not decreased then there is no problem with doing research with those guys... the argument falls in this case since > to do research > motivation is required > if motivation goes by becoming RENOWN then...there shud not be any ...

has increased the amount of fines for mining safety violations as part of

D is correct here...

Fine meanls a penalty... amount means...the amount of money in that penalty..

so amount should be used.

the fossils -- in this case it is plural

what is the singular form of "FOSSILS"

is it not that --- if we use "THE FOSSILS" -- that means it is SINGULAR ??

compare with --- is used when the comparison is on similar things... age to age ...color to color etc...


compare to --- is used when different things are compared...he compared her to a buffalo... ;)

answer chus be E for this.

x/y gives >> x and y either both +ve or both -ve

combining bith th options.

take x = 4 , Y = 3.5

2X-2Y = 1 ... thus both positive.

take X = -3.5 , Y = -4
2(-3.5)-2(-4) = 1 ...thus bith negative ...thus option E..
